Leaving the flat, you find yourself directly on Viale Trieste, the main street of the seafront, a few steps away from the splendid ‘Palla di Pomodoro’, now a symbol of the city, and the Villino Ruggeri, one of the most outstanding examples of Art Nouveau style. During the summer months, Viale Trieste becomes a pedestrian precinct and is filled with tables and chairs of the numerous bars and restaurants, ready to satisfy the needs of all visitors. Some bathing establishments, especially on the Lido di Levante, stay open until night, offering dinners and musical events.
